Worship at Liberty Church

Worship at Liberty Church is all about Jesus.

It is all about His glory and the ever-increasing fame of His awesome name.  Because He is so worthy of all praise and worship, it must be our goal to honour Him with every moment of our lives.  Revelation 4:8 gives us a glimpse into the non-stop, 24-hour, worship that is taking place in heaven right now! This is not just reserved for heavenly beings! This is our calling and destiny in God’s eternal plan! That we would not just be those who occasionally come together to worship God on specific days and times, but that we would be relentless and tireless worshippers of the King of Heaven every moment of every day!

“The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Liberty Worship can be described as presence-centered. Simply put, our priority is God’s presence. All that we do with music and presentation is focused on blessing the heart of God – to build a house that He is pleased to come and fill with his glory (2 Chron. 5:14).  Because of this we are committed to raising up anointed worship leaders and musicians who are fully given over to loving God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength (Luke 10:27).

Liberty Worship looks and sounds like…

On a Sunday Morning service, along with the normal corporate worship, that includes many of the latest contemporary songs, we also prioritise making time to wait in God’s presence, allowing room for prophecy and prayer, singing in the Spirit and tongues and interpretation. 1st Corinthians 14:26 “When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation.”

Our Sunday evening service, which is aimed at unbelievers, there is an emphasis that the songs are more focused proclamation of Biblical truth that is meaningful and accessible to those who have limited knowledge of Christianity. There is less of a focus on the proclamational gifts of the Spirit, but there remains an emphasis on the power gifts of healing and miracles of the Spirit, and of course we regulary see visitors respond for salvation, deliverance and healing.
Ignite is our Monthly half-night of prayer event. This setting allows us the freedom to enjoy extended times of prayer, soaking, prophecy, worship, along the pattern modelled by the International House of Prayer.
